Ace Trainer will then suggest how "Super Effective!" your Pokémon is towards other Pokémon. Since the strategy behind defeating Pokémon lies in the "Type" of Pokémon and their movesets, we look at the following:

1) Quick move Type and what its strong against
2) Charge move Type and what its strong against
3) If Quick move is STAB (Same Type attack bonus)
4) If Charge move is STAB (Same Type attack bonus)
5) Pokemon Type and what its resistant to
